I believe the only way for human innovation to rapidly increase and achieve the greatest outcome possibly is through a one world government that funds programs such as national space research and disease etc.
The problem is, the Bible is against a one world nation. Revelation 13:7 speaks about the antichrist "And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations"
So, a lot of people, my old church included, believe that a one world government is a sign of the apocalypse.
In theory a one world government would be nice... but people are awful and that leaves too many opportunities for the world to be ran by some shady person. Imo the benefits are not worth the risk because the world WILL go to shit
