WELCOME to the finale of my music game! I know it took a while for me to post the results, but my head was not really focused on this website much and I appreciate you four being so patient :) I loved this game so much and I appreciate every contestant for playing, you were all great!
Now, we have to get to the results!
The first contestant up for judging is... tbrown_47! Tim, your submissions were very solid. Right off the bat, I was hooked on Audrey Tell Me. I haven't ever heard this song or heard of the artist, but once again, you submit a complete new song to me that I fell in love with. Soulmate was also new to me, and I liked it as well! It was not my favorite of Lizzo's but I still liked it. When it comes to your story, I would say your's was my favorite story out of all the submissions. I loved that you gave a song for three different character's in the story, and it added depth to it in a really simple way! The first two songs in the story were new, and I had never listened to Powderfinger before but it was really good! However, Dynasty was the star of your story! I am a HUGE Rina Sawayama fan, and this song is amazing! I love the message and it was a great conclusion.
Next up we have... Lynn12! You submit some amazing songs today. Your first song did not really wow me.. I am not familiar with the artist, and it was good but just nothing special to me. Your second song however I loved! Evermore is really beautiful and emotional and this is a highlight off her newest album. I do wish I saw something besides Taylor for this category but it is a good song! Your story was good, and I liked most of the songs. Fix You is a favorite of mine, however, I did not really like All I Want... it wasn't horrible, but I found that it was really falling under the radar compared to a lot of the other songs I heard today.
The next contestant up is... Blahblahblahblah. Your first song today, OMG! I absolutely love this song. It came out pretty recently but I have been hooked on it since I first heard it. Beautifully written, it deserves more recognition! Elastic was really good too! I haven't heard of Joey Purp but this was really good and I added it to my library. Your story had ups and downs for me. Overall I liked it, but Once fell a little flat for me. This one was just not my style as much, but I loved that you did a story all by the same artist that was very cohesive.
And last, but not least! We have David2560! Sadly David, your redemption song was worse than your original submission. I am very picky about Ed Sheeran and I honestly really dislike this song :( I just find his voice to be a bit annoying, idky. However, your second song was a great submission with Dua Lipa. I feel like it is a little basic to do her lead single but I love this song! Your story was good, but one song in it really stood out to me. That is INTO YOU! I love this song, and it was your standout submission for sure!
