Mentally prepping

Apr 10, 2022 by Coffeybean94
To put my two week notice in tomorrow LOL. My boss doesn’t take the news of employees leaving well, granted, usually they just walk out without giving a notice, but I’m far too nice for that?
I’ve been the only reliable employee that’s stayed for 3 years so I’m sure it’ll come as a shock, and wouldn’t be surprised if she just walked out.
When my best friend texted her that she was leaving, she stormed out of her office balling her eyes out and I’m just not prepared for that.
I do feel bad because we technically are already underemployed, but like that’s also not my problem? She’s had like over a month to scramble to interview people? At least she’ll have more hours opened up to give out 😬
Tell me though, I’m probably just in my head right?? If she’s passive aggressive or tries to guilt me about it then I guess I shouldn’t even feel bad lmao
I’m tired af thanks for reading my rant any insight appreciated woo

At the end of the day, you gotta do what's best for you. If that's putting in your two weeks and finding something bigger and better, that's for the best.

Not your fault and it's not something you should feel guilty about. Everyone moves on, and everyone should be prepped and ready for it.
