PART 10/10
#3: Last Chances(season 49)
-The theme of this season was simple...win or go home. A season that started with 40 players from the past 7 years, all of which never won a Cmack’s Survivor game. Featuring many former finalists, fan favorites, host favorites, pre-merge boots, and all-stars alike...can you believe this season only ranks 3rd? For most of the game, the Yasur tribe was targeted by the rest of the cast for voting out active threats early in the season. Only 2 of the 10 made it to the merge at the Final 16. The season was also known for featuring countless idol plays, no seriously, you would think there was one every single round. 7 idols plays to be exact, only 6 being successful idol plays. Throughout the course of the post-merge(and some of the pre-merge), Brandon( brandonrichie) cemented himself as one of the more despised players in the season and even the series. Magnus( magge555550101) cemented himself as one of the greatest to never win, although his demise came when he gave an idol to Jared( NewNightmare7) and got stabbed in the back by some of his allies. As the game neared the end, it would appear the front-runners were Julian( TheSexiestDude990) and Jeremy( MMAJunkieX). While both would ultimately fail in their last challenges, the remaining members in the cast took out the biggest threats to win. After the dust settled, Brady( bradyspaulding16), playing a very UTR game all season only to jump out at the end, took the crown and succeeded in his Last Chance attempt.
#2: Good vs Evil(season 10)
-After nearly a year of hosting, I decided to have the 10th season of this series be Good vs Evil, a form of Heroes vs Villains, this time, I would place the players on their tribes based on their experiences in the first 9 seasons of the game. The game would start with 12 Good, 12 Evil, and 1 mystery player sitting on Redemption Island. As the game went on, players were blindsided for their past mistakes, and others would continue to dominate as they usually did. When the tribes finally merged, we were deadlocked at 6-6, and that is how it would end up with the first merge vote. Since the tie wasn’t resolved, the tie breaker resulted in Jayson( BBlover96) being eliminated. From that point, the Good tribe was systematically picked off, leaving only 2 of them left at the Final 8. At this point, some of the Evil tribe decided to blindside one of their own, so Alex(@jago827/ snails) left in a stunning vote. As the game continued to roll along, Jordan( jbmbb11) was the last remaining Good, and he would take 5th place. The Final 3 consisted of 2 former winners and a former juror, who really hadn’t made a name for himself. Alex( RShowFreak) came just 2 votes away from winning a 3rd time in the first 10 seasons, but he would lose to someone else, the guy who started his dominating run in Gen 1, Austin( titan24maniac), who would go on to win his next 2 appearances, being the only 3-time winner in the series.
#1: Winners vs Losers(season 30)
-To cap off the ranking, I have to put the season that stood as the best season at the time and was never topped with the 20 seasons that came after it. The season was dubbed to be the “biggest showdown” in Cmack’s Survivor history, and that it was. One of the more unfavorable twist ideas in terms of the cast was the “Secret Redemption Island” twist. As the game began, Mearl( Mearl) was voted out of the game on Day 1. The pre-merge would prove to be a seesaw battle, as winners and losers were falling all over the place. Once the merge occurred, the remaining players were informed of the twist and welcomed back Mearl and Danny( Chantra1). The merge started off very unpredictable with Nick( manalord) being blindsided with an idol, and Austin( titan24maniac) being voted out for the first time since his debut season 21 seasons earlier. The game rolled along with more big names being taken out of the game, such as: wangifold, dragotistic, Robinhood99, and jbmbb11. The Final 3 consisted of Mearl, John( ALLIANCEGUY), and Stephen( SimvivoRWay). With all the odds stacked against him from Day 1, Mearl would win his 2nd game of the generation, and become the only winner to have been voted out first in the same season.
I loved reading these rankings of the many Survivor seasons that you hosted Carl. Thank you so much for letting me partake in Madagascar and Last Chances, I ultimately didn't give up one bit until I was voted out. I was ultimately fucked over in my last season and I blame the people on my tribe that I believed to have my back as my downfall. I should have picked a better set of allies. Anyway, thank you for the fun and entertaining memories! I loved every moment :D. Let's not forget my blow up on Julian before exiting LC, lmao.
