This is basically a psychological thriller.
It all starts when a teenager gets abducted one day walking to school, his family and community look for months trying to find him, with no success no clues no tips. The family accepts the fact that their son is probably dead and hold a funeral service for their son.
Fast forward 5 years and a young adult is found walking on the edge of some woods, he manages to make his way back into his childhood hometown, he walks up to a house, when the door is opened he yells mom dad! They have no clue who he is or why hes there, scared they call the police and they take him to the station for questioning.
They ask the same questions over and over "What are you doing here?" "Who are you?" "Why are you so dirty?" Among others, he tries to tell them he was abducted 5 years ago and tells them his name, the database has no such person.
He now knows that he must find a way and prove to everyone that he is who he says he is.
The only problem its as if the town doesnt remember he existed, its as if hes been FORGOTTEN.
Basically, i know a lot of people have a fear of being forgotten when they die so i think a movie based off that would be good.
Interesting, as long as you have the answers to

2.)How he was forgotten
3.) How he gets remembered/Some Alternate ending for a sequel
1.) He was walking to school when a car pulled up and pulled a gun and said if he didnt get in then he would be shot and killed
2.) His family didnt know how to cope with his disappearance, and when they would think about him they would get severely depressed, to the point where one of his siblings attempted suicide so they burned all of his possessions and out of respect for the family the rest of the town did the same.
3.) Turns out not every thing was burned and he eventually finds a couple of pictures of him and his family on Christmas morning and shows it to the family
Probably sounds dumb^ but its the best i got right now.
Also was gonna do a slightly different one where a kid wakes up one day and no one remembers him and all of his possessions are gone similar minus the death
