I've been keeping up with randomize on how to increase engagement across the site. One of the ways I've been getting some feedback to him is through my group 10 Days of Tengaged. Over the last few days, I've been asking Tengaged what new game would excite users the most and sounds the most interesting. After blogging, constant polling, spamming and ad-creating, and 228 votes later, I have the results...

In addition to the original poll, I also reached out to commentators to ask for their feedback on certain ways the game could be played, the style it could take, and other features implemented to keep users entertained. For Sole Survivor, users mentioned wanting...
- Hidden Immunity Idol Pop-Ups (similar in fashion to keys in a castings, but much more rare and hard to come by).
- Tribe Swaps (Similar to the TV show, implement tribe swaps to shake the game up in preparation towards the merge)
- Twists that shake up the game (Implementing new ways the game can be carried out would help engage more users. Perhaps making modifications to the game every month or so that use different twists and/or features as seen on TV?)
- Make the game accessible to all. (Don't make it exclusive like Hunger Games or Stars, instead allow many people to join and give everyone a chance).
I had brought up the idea of whether users wanted the game moving fast or slow. In general, you all seem divided 50/50 on this, as either option could work out. In addition, users mentioned wanting payouts that would be worth the time invested. If users are to keep playing these games, payouts should reflect the amount of time and energy spent playing. A win should be well worth it. So finding the right structure for payouts is important to users.
The game itself seems fairly easy to implement. It's just a matter of tweaking things to be more realistic and in line with the actual Survivor show. Users want to feel like they are actual contestants on the show, so pursuing changes that help make the game feel more realistic will keep users playing and hopefully introduce new fan bases to the site.
In any case, I for one am extremely excited to hear back from you all about ideas concerning whether the game should move fast or slow, and what kind of payouts would be expected from a game of this caliber. I'm eager to hear back from randomize, and see when we might be able to expect a new addition hitting the Games page soon. If your first pick didn't get the majority votes this time around, there's always the chance for more games to be added in the future... ;)

Although im not a big fan of sole survivor, considering i already like the survivor game thats active rn, I think a long game will be better, maybe with 16 players. I think the more twists, the better because it will shake up the game and make it more interesting. maybe make some seasons redemption island, edge of extinction, fans vs favs, etc. It would probably be a higher level game, maybe black level and up?
I love/hate seeing these blogs, on one side I love the optimism and the creativity that the users try to instill on the site. On the other side, I know none of this will ever become reality. Hopefully rando proves me wrong, but I dont have any faith that he’ll do anything except cosmetic changes on TG.

eh i mean we already have a survivor game so it'd honestly be better if he did a game like the challenge... besides sole survivor will be just another game in where premades will join, but if he could actually get to making 2 new games that'd be great

Day 7 *POSSIBLY* Both tribes go to tribal before merge/jury
Day 8: Merge with 9 remaining + Immunity
Day 9: Vote off + Individual immunity
Day 10: Vote off + Individual immunity

Day 14: *Cool idea* Randomly tengagers would vs another of the final 4 and would have mini duels. The winners of each duel goes onto final 2

i think this would be so fun, i am a huge fan of survivor and that is actually the game i want to play wayyy more than big brother (fastings)!! i cant wait till i am orange level to play this woo!
