Am I a bad person because it took me this long to learn how important it is to be an ally for the LGBTQ+ community and the Black Lives Matter cause? More often than not lately, I sit and lament the ignorance that comes with having the intellectual and social impairments I have. I haven't been as good a friend or person as I could have been when it comes to being there for others in their struggles and I sincerely apologize for that. My inner density kept me from seeing reality, but I'm working on fixing that.
