Well, it's about the time where we should reflect upon and honor the 19th anniversary of 9/11 and for all of you who are old enough to remember where you were and what were you doing, do you care to share those memories?
On September 11, 2001, I was in 9th grade and 13 years of age. I was getting ready for school when my mom's friend called her and told her to turn on the TV. My mom turned on the TV and she asked what movie was playing, but her friend told her that it wasn't a movie. I'm now 32 and the world has changed so much, but we still need to remember the past and honor it. COVID-19 has interfered with ceremonies usually set in place to honor the day, but we can still remember virtually, so we should do that.
What were the rest of you doing and how did you feel when you found out about what was happening?
