This afternoon, I was on a Skype call with coreyants, EyooMarcus, Hash, DaddyDev, and some others when I heard that I narrowly missed some wild drama! They told me about how wildboy12 got arrested in real life for making obscured blogs about gun violence, potentially harming a elementary school and mentioning other school shootings. They also told me that koolness234 was the one who called the police and that some are actually giving him royal hell for doing that.
Like, do these bullies not have brains or lack the awareness to realize that things could have been a whole lot more serious had 'Koolness the Brave' not involved the police? So WHAT if wildboy12 was arrested? He made a choice and he now has to live with the consequences of that choice even if he claims it was supposed to be a joke. He crossed a line and he knew what he was doing, so I can't really have sympathy for him at all; don't expect me to.
Like, why should koolness be given hell for taking action and preventing another Sandy Hook or Columbine? I live about an hour from Taber, Alberta and Taber is sadly one of the places where a school shooting took place back in 1999. School shootings are SERIOUS things and I AM SO DAMN PROUD OF koolness234 for preventing yet another tragedy.
Like, I'm sure people will call me a bandwagoner and accused me of commenting just to get attention, but those people can piss off back to their gutters. There are so many tragedies in modern history that could have been prevented if people would have just spoken up or expressed concerns, but people are naturally so afraid or unsure of doing so because it makes them look like a tattletale. The world is so dark now and we need people to be unafraid to speak up and act when they know something is wrong.
Bravery doesn't discriminate; anyone of any age, gender, sexuality, religion, race, or whatever else can be brave if they just believe in themselves and their words enough to act when they see or hear something that doesn't seem good or right.
I don't know koolness234 at all, but I would like to and I'd like him to keep on being courageous enough to speak when something is wrong. Don't let the bullies on here intimidate you, koolness; you keep being your brave self and let them fester in their arrogant ignorance. I want you to promise me, koolness, that you will keep being you and never be afraid of being courageous when a situation calls for it. Do you understand?
