I know it's early, but it's now time for me to begin planning my Christmas project for 2018 and I'm so excited to be spending yet another year doing a merry act of kindness! I'm excited to plan it and I hope it may inspire all of you to take time to be kind!
Ever since 2013, I have done an act of kindness to celebrate Christmas each year because kindness is fun!
Christmas 2013 was the Christmas I spent serving a year-long humanitarian mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at the Lethbridge Area Field Office and Bishop's Storehouse. It was a fantastic mission and anyone who is curious as to what I did there is welcome to read this online journal I kept during my mission:
My previous Christmas projects were:
2013: Buying toys from Toys R Us and donating them to the Pediatric ward of the local hospital.
2014: Buying toys from dollar stores and donating them to the Pediatric ward of the local hospital. I also invented the original 'Holiday Kindness Challenge' via YouTube and that video can be found here:
2015: Buying toys from dollar stores and donating them to the Pediatric ward of the local hospital.
2016: Taking a few 'stocking requests' from the local YWCA Women's Shelter, buying the items from the dollar store, and donating them to those in need.
2017: Due to illness, I didn't buy anyone anything, but I did go on YouTube and challenge everyone! I invented the '111 Days of Kindness Challenge' that ran from September 5 to December 25. The video for that can be found here:
When I figure out a project for 2018, I will let y'all know!
