I had been invited to take part in Survivor Jeju Island on Skype, which is hosted by a Tengaged ORGer named TwinFacethe2nd, by someone already in the ORG. Everything seemed fine until we got on a Google Hangout chat to discuss a twist and started getting to know one another; I and everyone else on call found out that one of the ORGers was the 9 year old brother of the 13 year old host! Now, having relatives of the host in a game is not so bad and even having a 13 year old for a host is not bad, but having a 9 year old involved in an ORG is awful. Everyone on call had something to say about it, but they are all silent today.
Anyway, their parents found out what the nine year old was up to and ordered him out of the game. TwinFacethe2nd was not happy about it, but seemed to go on with the game as usual and let us vent our concerns about having the 9 year old involved. I thought everything was fine and we'd go on despite the change in plans.
Today, however, TwinFacethe2nd allowed his 9 year old brother to come back as production, which I disagree with. Something tells me that the parents did not give their permission, as host threatened me with expulsion if I asked that question. The host also blames me for his brother having to leave and I think that is total crap, as I called them out on them lying to their parents about their online activities. I have never ever quit an ORG in my whole career, but I am not comfortable with a 9 year old kid being involved in a game that is for teens and adults. I think these two kids are lying to their parents about what they are doing online.
I do not believe children under 13 have a place in ORGs and they should not be encouraged into ORGs while they are underage. ORGs are online versions of reality games and children should not be in that environment. Social media is very complex territory and people need to be careful with it. Children are so easily manipulated and social media can be used to cause dangerous trouble, so that's why there is an age limit.
I tried and tried to make TwinFacethe2nd see reason about why it is not a good idea for his brother to be involved in an online game involving social media and I even called them out for lying to their parents, but they would not listen. TwinFacethe2nd proceeded to threaten me with expulsion if I didn't do what he said and say nasty things about me instead. So, choosing comfort over a possible victory, I decided to leave the game and I feel much better about sticking to my principles than I do being in an uncomfortable situation.
Chameleon777 btw my parents in fact did know what we were doing if it wasn’t for them Owen would still be in the game. And the only reason I threatened you was be you repeatedly asked me if our parents knew what we were doing which I repeatedly told you Yes. Only to the point of where it became to annoying so I told you to stop or I would have you removed. Then you preceded to keep asking me a telling everybody that I attached you which I didn’t!
Twinfacethe2nd, you just contradicted yourself by saying your parents knew, but that Owen got booted cause of them. How about you grow up and stop lying to your parents about what you and Owen are doing on the internet?
Chameleon777 My Parents Knew But after they Heard YOU that you were uncomfortable they second guessed their decision on if he should play hence pulling him from the game
