Tonight, I find myself randomly reflecting on a moment of history that I hope will never be forgotten. I was 13 when 9/11 happened and I am now 30. I still remember that day and what I was doing.I was in 9th grade and I was getting ready for school when my mom's friend called her and told her to turn on the TV. My mom turned on the TV and she asked what movie was playing, but her friend told her that it wasn't a movie.
As you get older, you find yourself reflecting on things and I happened to watch an episode of CSI: NY on DVD tonight that dealt with the 10th anniversary of 9/11 and it brought me to tears. I watched the CSI: NY episode 'Indelible' for the first time tonight and I am very pleased at how respectful everyone in the episode was in addressing the 10th anniversary of 9/11.
To this day, I still remember where I was and I truly believe we should never forget any of it. I think out of all the shows that touched upon the tragedy of 9/11, CSI: NY and Third Watch did the best job of respecting the whole situation in that they realistically explored the day as it happened, the immediate aftermath, AND the long-term aftermath.
