VERY bad idea. Those of us who have lives  (You know, school, work,etc.) will miss far more than half the day. Plus, this would be making rookies like every other game on tengaged. Let's have at least something unique around here.

Social games take time to play well.  Shorten the game, and you eliminate that time.  This is a bad idea.

And a 3.5 day game would also mean the payouts would need to drop as well to keep them in line with the time spent to play other games.
