Darcy Edwards is a former student and Spirit Squad Captain at Degrassi Community School, who left to do missionary work in Kenya, Africa during her senior year. She was first portrayed as a straight-laced, innocent Christian girl, who many found stuck up and judgmental. This was seen in her conflict with Mia Jones, whom she openly resented simply because of her status as a teen mother.
However, in Season 6, she began to change into a hot, popular, and athletic cheerleader.
However, she was drugged and raped while attending a party which caused her to contract chlamydia. Following her assault, she became extremely unstable and unable to cope with her traumatic rape, sending her down a self-destructive, promiscuous and mentally unstable path. This included telling a tale that she was sexually harassed by Mr. Simpson, after she began flirting with him only to be turned down, putting his entire job, reputation and personal life in jeopardy. But, when she is sent to Brat Camp, she is finally able to admit her rape and recovers almost entirely before her departure for Kenya.
Her younger sister, Clare Edwards and stepbrother Jake Martin have graduated from Degrassi. Darcy was best friends with Jane Vaughn and Manny Santos, and good friends with Emma Nelson and Chantay Black. She was enemies with Paige Michalchuk, Jay Hogart, Johnny DiMarco, Mia Jones and Holly J. Sinclair. She was portrayed by Shenae Grimes.
Imogen Moreno is a graduate of Degrassi Community School from the Class of 2014. Fun, energetic, with a magnetic look and intense stare â Imogen would hate for anyone to think she's boring, so she goes to great lengths to stand out from the crowd. She puts on airs of being an enlightened individual, when it's really a ploy to manipulate those around her. She worries one day someone will discover her secret; she's a normal kid looking for excitement in her life.
During her senior year, with the help of Fiona, she has become more social, and less awkward and eccentric. She continues to dress in her unique style and suggest her crazy ideas, but has dramatically toned down her look and made a wide circle of friends. Imogen also became more edgy and serious as a result of discovering her father, Louis Moreno, has dementia and being bitterly reunited with her estranged mother, Natalie Granger.
Imogen is thought to be pansexual for she has dated Eli, Fiona, had a crush on Adam, an FTM transgender and used to date Jack. She is best friends with Eli Goldsworthy, Fiona Coyne and Becky Baker, and good friends with Bianca DeSousa. She had a fling with friend Adam Torres shortly before he passed away. Additional friends of hers include, Drew Torres, Mike Dallas, Jake Martin, Zig Novak, Maya Matlin, Winston Chu, and Mo Mashkour. She had conflicts with Marisol Lewis and Katie Matlin. Imogen was a member of the band, WhisperHug before it broke up. She is portrayed by Cristine Prosperi.

Holly Jeanette "Holly J." Sinclair is a graduate of Degrassi Community School and was the valedictorian of the Class of 2011. She is currently attending Yale University with Declan Coyne. When she first transferred over from Lakehurst Secondary School, she was only known as the younger sister of Heather Sinclair. Holly J. gained her reputation from Heather and used to be the mean girl of the school, with her main goal being to dominate Degrassi socially, but after karma caught up with her, she managed to transform into a kinder person.
The former student council president and Power Squad captain, Holly J. was shown to be an overachiever, often overworking herself. Though she can come off as blunt and arrogant, her sometimes abrasive personality stems from a deeply-seeded need to prove herself to others as a result of living in the shadow of her older sister. She is best friends with Fiona Coyne, Anya MacPherson, and Jane Vaughn, and is good friends with Chantay Black, Spinner Mason, Sav Bhandari, Marco Del Rossi and Emma Nelson. She was frenemies with Mia Jones and disliked Darcy Edwards, Manny Santos, Derek Haig and Owen Milligan. She used to have conflicts with Alli Bhandari, Clare Edwards and Jenna Middleton. She was portrayed by Charlotte Arnold.

Jane Vaughn (born Anastasia Janis Valieri) was a student at Lakehurst Secondary School before transferring to Degrassi Community School during Season 7. Jane was the valedictorian of Degrassi's Class of 2008, and she went on to attend Stanford University. She is the younger sister of Lucas Valieri and the aunt of Isabella Jones, Mia's daughter.
She's a beautiful, tough, proud, fun-loving tomboy, who found being friends with other girls difficult. She was best friends with Darcy Edwards and Holly J. Sinclair, and good friends with Danny Van Zandt, Sav Bhandari, Mia Jones, Peter Stone, Manny Santos, and Declan Coyne. She was portrayed by Paula Brancati.
After Lakehurst burned down, all of its students were forced to enroll in Degrassi. This includes Jane, who becomes friends with Manny Santos and Darcy Edwards during lunch and they go on a skiing trip together. After returning from the trip, Jane finds out that someone was spiking random girls' drinks and raping them at the party that they attended in the ski lodge. She then tells Manny and Darcy what she heard about the rapist, and says that she was glad that it wasn't one of Degrassi's students, not realizing that Darcy was a victim.
Anya Marie MacPherson is a graduate of Degrassi Community School from the Class of 2011. Ever since transferring from Lakehurst Secondary School, Anya had always been the type of person to be easily manipulated and much more of a follower than a leader. Ever since finding out she wasn't accepted into university, Anya went through a dark period and developed a cocaine addiction, but was inspired to pursue basic training to join the Canadian Forces, and quit the drug. She is a former member of Power Squad, and she suffers from dyslexia, which makes it hard for her to read. She is known for her beauty and admirable personality, always being sweet and supportive of everybody. She is best friends with Holly J. Sinclair and Riley Stavros, and is good friends with Chantay Black, Fiona Coyne, Mia Jones, Sav Bhandari, Leia Chang, Danny Van Zandt, Zane Park and Wesley Betenkamp. She had a conflict with Jane Vaughn. She was portrayed by Samantha Munro.
Anya first appears as Holly J. Sinclair's best friend. However, the friendship is somewhat one-sided and even contains elements of emotional abuse, with Holly J. being the abuser. Anya is seen following Holly J. around during Standing In the Dark in the cafeteria as Holly J. fights with Darcy Edwards. Anya dresses almost exactly like Holly J. and follows her around almost everywhere. Later on, Mia and Anya become acquaintances, as Mia notices how Holly J. treats Anya and brings it to her attention.
Fiona Celestine Arabella Coyne is a graduate and valedictorian of the Degrassi Community School's Class of 2013. She was from New York City, USA and is currently living in Rome, Italy. Although she and her twin brother Declan Coyne were born in Japan, Fiona considers Manhattan home. She transferred to Degrassi Community School in Season 9 during the second semester as a junior with her brother.
After being a "few credits shy," she had to repeat her senior year. Fiona once relied on money to do everything for her, but she has learned how to manage with less of it, after her mother Laura Coyne was put on house arrest on account of fraud in her foundation until the family's legal troubles were resolved. She was a talented artist and is also very interested in fashion, as shown through her unique sense of style. A loner who once feared her own independence, Fiona has been to rehab to take control of her alcoholism, has been put on medication due to her anxiety problems, and has realized that she is a lesbian.
She is best friends with Holly J. Sinclair, and Eli Goldsworthy. She is also good friends with Anya MacPherson, Bianca DeSousa, Mike Dallas, Drew Torres, and Imogen Moreno. Additional friends of hers include Chantay Black, Adam Torres, Dave Turner, and Marisol Lewis. She formerly had a conflict with Tinsley Wharton due to her trampy reputation, but respects her now for helping her in her trial against her abusive ex-boyfriend Bobby Beckonridge. She also seems to be on good terms with former enemy Katie Matlin. She is portrayed by Annie Clark.
