First of all RIP Dewey I kinda knew they were gonna do it but they could have given him and Gale more time to make up and give him a better death than what he got.
Also I thought the movie was good, there was a lot of good funny moments and scary moments, I hate they killed Wes off so early tho.
Also there was a slight disconnect between the characters main groups of Sid/Gale, Samantha, and the friends because they all barely interacted.
Now the ending........was fucking stupid. Like I know Scream loves camp but horror fans who were mad about the "last" movie hatched this plan.......it was VERY dumb. Also why did the girl killer (can't remember her name at this moment) reveal herself so early anyway? She literally did not have to do it the way she did @ all.
Like when Ritchie was revealed to be one of the killers I was like OMG how did he know Sam was Billy's daughter? How did he get in to all of this? And it was because he and the girl met on REDDIT and Sam's off camera mom who you never see got drunk and told someone one time????
Anyways I am guessing they are starting a new generation of movies? Since Sam, her sister, and the twins all lived which gives them a group to keep going with.

the biggest plot hole for me was tara not knowing sam was billy's daughter. amber said it was common knowledge because it's a small town. but tara doesn't know??? sam is her SISTER and she goes to school with half of the cast.
Patrick319 right I don't think they came up with a good idea for how to get that to work. Or hell at least film a flashback scene showing her mom drunkenly say it where Amber(?) overheard it or something?
i was hoping Amber had a connection to Stu as her house was Stu's old house. could have been another reason for Amber to target Billy's daughter since he got Stu involved in the original murders and he died also. Richie being killer makes sense, he seemed psychotic after playing dumb all movie
dmann OMG the fact that they tried to pass off amber living in stu's old house as this BIG REVEAL as if that wasn't all over the promotional material leading up to the movie pisses me off. I didn't realize they were trying to pass that off as something we the audience didn't know because it felt like common knowledge LOL. that would have been a gag-worthy moment though had they kept it a secret until the film came out.
Patrick319 yah i kinda forgot about it tho, til it happened. its interesting they decided to have Billys daughter as a main hero since he was a villian. i assume we are suposed to think Billy had got someone pregnant in HS before he was with Sidney lol. also very nice they gave Wes & Randy tributes.
