I mean seeing the new challenge cast pulling cast members from I believe 5 different shows (Real World, Road Rules, Are you the One?, Big Brother, and Ex on the Beach) it seems like MTV is getting desperate for cast members for their pointlessly gigantic casts. Looking at the recent Real World finale (which had like 340K viewers) it seems like the show is ready to die at any moment. ESPECIALLY considering the absolutely pathetic attempts at manually inserting drama by making the Real World have "twists" I think this show really is about to die very soon. Also don't forget the Challenge has completely abandoned the RW/RR reference at all.
Woeisme Honestly I doubt it, lifestyle reality shows with no aspect of competition are not really what the market is looking for anymore
it is kind of getting destroyed by producers attempts at manufacturing drama and totally missing the point of slice of life cultural shows so if it goes I think its gone
Kropik TBH I think Road Rules would be kind of refreshing given the content and what not, but current TV producers will run it into the ground as fast as they can
Yea, if it were ever brought back it would be twist heavy like it's been the past few seasons. Which sucks since the last regular season, (Portland) was really good. Hell even road rules was twist heavy before they cancelled it. That last season was so bad. I wonder if they'll cut back twist wise if it's revived. (They wont, lol!) brandonator
