Now Piers may have got a fairly high placement when it came to my gym leader ranking, but when it comes to evil team leaders, I just don't consider Piers really much of an evil character at all, even with him being the main leader behind the evil team of Galar, Team Yell. I have talked about Piers in past, so I'm not going to go into extreme detail here, but I do still love the character design of Piers, and from the evil team leaders, his design is probably still one of my favorites. However, you don't really battle Piers as this big bad villain, you only battle him at one point which is fighting him as a gym leader, so I just more consider the fight against him a gym battle than fighting this big bad person at the end, which I still like his team as well. At the least, Piers' gym does have Team Yell grunts cheering him on and you having to fight some yell grunts along the way to battling Piers, which does fit him being the main leader of that group. Overall, Piers is a great character and a great gym leader, he just is not really one I consider to be an evil leader even though he officially is.
