Whitney is the Normal type gym leader of Goldenrod City in the games Gold, Silver, Crystal, Heart Gold & Soul Silver. Where she has team of Clefairy & Miltank in every game, which of course the Clefairy can go down easily, but the Miltank can be a pain at times, it's why it tends to be the bane of most nuzlocke runs, unless you get lucky and have a solid geodude or feisty Machop, then Miltank isn't as much of a pain, but even then, Miltank can still be dangerous. Now, idk what it is about Whitney, but I just absolutely adore her design, and how her character is in the games, there's just something with her I adore greatly. Even though her gym puzzle is pretty, well, normal, as it's just walking across a path fighting against gym trainers until you reach Whitney, I still like the layout of that gym. Overall, Whitney is just amazing, and although I can't quite put my finger on it, there's something about Whitney that makes me just absolutely love her to pieces, and that is why I chose to put her as my #1 for this ranking.
