Primal Kyogre remains a pure Water type, and pretty well like Groudon, doesn't have that many differences compared to regular Kyogre. Primal Kyogre has the ability Primordial Sea (or somethin like that,) which essentially brings up a heavy rain and makes fire type moves useless (Primal Groudon definitely won out in the ability department,) and it has good stats all around that Primal Kyogre is still a great use in competitive, although this doesn't quite see as much use as Primal Groudon. Overall, Primal Kyogre is cool, but I prefer the originals of both Kyogre and Groudon over their Primal forms, I just find both the Primal forms meh, so just came down to preference of liking Kyogre more than Groudon that made Primal Kyogre win out.
