Mega Swampert is a Water & Ground type, and has the worse design of the Hoenn starter Megas by a long shot, as well as a way worse design than regular Swampert. Not sure what it is about it, but Mega Swampert just looks really ugly compared to the regular Swampert design, I just don't like it on looks. However, it is still a solid pokemon in battles, but really only benefits in rain, with it having Swift Swim as its ability, then has good enough stat buffs to do major offensive pressure in rain. Regardless of it being alright in battles, the ugly design really knocked it down some pegs, and that's what ended up getting me to rank it here.
