Turtwig is a pure grass type and is the first of the Sinnoh starters to be took out of this ranking. When it comes to design, I don't mind Turtwig there as I think it looks decent enough, but in terms of battling sure it has an okay movepool, yet I find its stats & abilities very underwhelming compared to other grass type starters. Overall, Turtwig is not only my least favorite starter of Sinnoh, it's actually pretty close to being my least favorite starter in general, potentially only starter I like less than this is Chikorita, so it was due to those reasons I didn't want to carry Turtwig anymore and it didn't feel right putting a starter I'm not crazy about in my top 70
