Altaria is a Dragon/Flying type, which is an alright typing just be careful with the major ice weakness, and is the evolved form of Swablu. Honestly, I think Altaria looks pretty cool & for a fully evolved pokemon, still looks somewhat adorable too, so design i'd give probably about an 8/10 overall, as it's nice but definitely not perfect. Now, when it comes to looking at how Altaria does in the games & competitively, it has some okay stats here & there, and has a pretty nice movepool, but the abilities of Altaria aren't all that exciting (Mega Altaria has a nice ability though) Overall, I really love Altaria, but it is a pokemon I haven't really used much in the past, however, it has been one I've kind of wanted to use in-game, just never got chance to yet. The lack of experience using this pokemon is pretty much the main reason I chose to rank Altaria here.
