Belated TBB2 Watch: Episodes 19-21 Reactions

Jan 18, 2018 by BolieverIsBack
Episode 19:
*I would have done SO bad at this competition, so I'm impressed that 2beastly, NotAfraid, and Trust lasted as long as they did. I'm also impressed that Gabbie got second while wearing braces. That's an impressive run. And well done to Trust for getting a win, I think it's something he could do well with as an intruder.
*...I don't get this HOH room theme. At all.
*I don't know how I feel about Bridgette77 getting a loved one letter segment. Because he was previously in the game, I'm afraid he could talk to Zack in code about information within the game based on when he played.
*Zack had to take shots this week, I think that's fairly obvious. It doesn't seem like he has any alliances, although I don't know if someone pulled him in somewhere in secret. Certainly he doesn't seem to be with the Pretty People. Interesting that the Steve and jackyboy combination is being tried again. But don't take a bath in gasoline, Jack. It ain't pleasant.
*Steve's anger at the nomination ceremony, though. I get it that Zack broke a verbal deal. However, as I said, I think it's fairly obvious Zack had to make a move, and I think an HOH competition deal has been broken so many times that I wouldn't have gotten that upset.

Episode 20:
*Interesting comp idea, haven't seen it on the real show. I also found it interesting that Jack seemed like he threw that comp to deeannamorgan at the end. I say this because (and I'll get to this later) wouldn't it have made more sense for Jack to win the veto and same himself, rather than expose a possible Jack/Deeanna alliance? And if in fact he did throw it, he wasn't especially subtle about it either. '
*Pandora's box as the last prize is a very interesting twist. I wonder if there are people who would've kept the box over the veto in the right scenario. I wonder what Jack's thought process was in picking Steve and jordynrose. I'm guessing it had to be people that he felt like he shared the least incriminating information with.
*I'm pretty sure, knowing Gabbie, that dancing punishment was actually a reward. Who are these Patrick and Bernadette people making cameos, though?
* sexgoddx rocking the undie-tard, I have to say.
*Zack and Chameleon777 may have had the most awkward karaoke session I've ever seen. And I live in New York City. There is a LOT of awkward karaoke there.
*And now we go to another reason of why I think Jack shouldn't have thrown the veto. Deeanna saving Jack with the veto shows a few aspects of her game. It shows that she and Jack are obviously close, and it shows that Steve isn't on the top of Dee's list. I think that if Jack had won the veto and saved himself, it makes perfect sense, but also hides the strength of Jack and Dee's alliance.
*...Zack. Oh Zack. I don't get this move in nominating Rocker917. At all. I say this because Billy appears to have been playing all sides for awhile. Because of this, not only could Zack rope in Billy as a number, but I think that Zack could've gone for someone more objectively within the Pretty People. I think Gabbie or Jordyn would've been a better choice for him. I can agree that Billy's played a pretty good game up until this point, but I think taking out Billy here is a short-term gain for Zack, when I think he needs a long-term one more.
*Is there a verse in the Bible that states "Thou shalt not evict people named William on games based in houses?" If not, I'm not so sure it can help Billy here.

Episode 21:
*"Either the tooth fairy, or someone who's a little bit hairy."- Allison. I sort of have no words for that one.
*...is Jack flirting with eliserose even legal?
*I like this power from Pandora's box that Jack got. It's effective, but not like a Survivor F4 fire twist, and he also has to know whose vote to cancel. It'll be interesting to see in the aftermath as well how Jack can spin it. On one hand, he can claim that his initiative got out a strong player in Billy. On the other hand, people can make the argument that it was relative luck that he got this advantage. Curious to see how the jury will ultimately perceive that.
*Oh Billy's spilled James Lipton. I will say this. I disagree about the notion that you should've kept Aquamarine over Deeanna. I think at the time Johnny was just too much of a wild card to keep, and although saving Deeanna bit you in the ass at the end, you made the right play at the time. I still wouldn't have made that comment about walking, though. I also will say on a personal note (since I won't be tagging him as much) that I thank Billy for being a regular contributer to these blogs, and I will be sad to see you go, as you were very interesting to watch throughout.
*Billy putting 100 for that jury question, though. And ANOTHER All-Stars competition making an appearance in general. Been awhile since Deeanna got power, will she go for saraj10 directly again, considering she was Dee's target last time? We'll see.

That's it for now, tune in next time for my thoughts on what Dee will do.

Obligatory karim tag.

game changing moment of the season for me!!!

The last of my 2 cents from a player within the game

Dee and Jack were an obvious duo to everyone and Sara was super tight with Oscar when he got evicted so when Zack came in he immediately took Oscars spot and the week essentially reset from a numbers standpoint.

I was honest with Zack and Sara on call and said I trusted Steve and thought he could be the one to flip on Jack and Dee to tip the scales especially if he didnt go up that week but in turn it made them want to split up the Steve Billy duo more

Steve had a huge creepy crush on Zack and it just made Zack want him out more

Everyone knew that Dee was the replacement nominee if Jack won POV and she was initially the nominee to be be next to Jack and the one I was pushing them for the most. I tried to play up the Sara Dee rivalry to get them to nominate her but to no avail. I told them she would win and pull Jack off and then they'd be in trouble when one of them wins HoH the next week but they ignored me.

Prior to the veto ceremony it was common knowledge to everybody that morning that Jordyn Rose was going to be the replacement nominee. Jack and I had already talked and we agreed that we had to cut Jordyn loose. I made a deal reluctantly with Zack and Sara to evict Steve, and made a Final 2 deal with Jordyn.
Had Jordyn been nominated the votes would have went:
To evict Steve: Me Sara Gabbie Malibu
To evict Jordyn: Jack Dee
Jack would have used his secret power to cancel a vote but then been blindsided by me jumping ship, Jordyn would've jumped with me and Sara Gabbie Malibu or Sara probably would've won TBB2 but thats not how it went down

A lot of pushing for me to go up happened and JordynRose bailed herself out from seeing the block in a genuine blindside at the veto ceremony. Sara came home from work like 15 mins before the veto ceremony and Zack told her that the plan had changed and that I needed to go up because I couldn't be relied on to evict steve.

From Zack's standpoint, nominating me was the way to make sure Steve went home and he was clear about this.

After I was nominated the plan was:
Evicting Steve: Malibu Sara Jordyn
Evicting Me: Jack Dee Gabbie
Zack's plan was to break the tie and evict Steve. He didnt tell me this until AFTER the veto ceremony, where I said Jack had a power and I suspected it had to do with vote nullify or vote stealing. Thus why I was so prepared for my eviction because I just knew that the 3-3 tie and then break plan would fail, but I didnt get to say that until after the ceremony when it was already too late. I also then made a chat called "The first three jurors" and added Sara and Zack to it after the ceremony saying they had doomed the three of us by nominating me and that Jack and Dee now had full control of the game.

Onto eviction night: Was I being petty? yes. Was I playing it up for the cameras? Yes. Did I go too far with some of what I said? Yes. Do I regret some of the things I said that night? Yes. Would I do it again and be that petty? yes. Would I go as far as to add to my tea spilling? yea I probably would've called out Steve for making F2s with everyone in the game, and I would've thanked Zack and Sara for ruining their own games as well by nominating me and allowing all this to happen.

I was essentially Zack's 5th target at the start of the week and I walked out the door.
As Allison said at the start of the interview, "Everything needed to go wrong for you to go home this week, and EVERYTHING went wrong."

Also production didn't know I was going to be the renom, or they were surprised to some degree when it happened as well so that just added to the tension of the moment.
Another Allison quote from the reunion show "When the veto comp ended I did not think Jack was going to get Billy out using his power, and when I realized he was I wanted to hang myself" or something along those lines.

Like we said in your last blog that was one of the craziest weeks of big brother that I've ever seen and I honestly think I played as well as I could that week so I don't really regret it. I was dealt and extremely shitty hand that week and had got my bluffs called. Props to everyone who pulled off the blindsides. Zack blindsided me by nominating me, and Jack blindsided Zack and Sara by sending me home.

If i'm being honest the rest of this season really goes downhill because A. I'm not in it. and B. It gets extremely predictable. But I guess at this point you still have a Malibu or Jordyn win to be cheering for as underdog powerful women?

Anyways theres my TBB essay on the craziest week I've ever heard of in any Big Brother game hope I was able to clear up some stuff since we didnt really portray things like obviously knowing Jack and Dee were a duo or that Zack and Sara were inseparable, or that Dee and Elise were best friends.

Rocker917, and that's why I'm sad to see you go, I've really enjoyed your insights into the game from your point of view. Hopefully we get some good commentary to replace yours, and hope you enjoyed things from my end.

also the season did not go downhill tbh billy was just SUPEERRRR bitter he got outplayed (sorry not sorry billy!!) even tho he was in a good spot, he did get fucked over and outplayed in the end!!! in my perspective the season only got better but maybe I'm a little biased;p

also jack threw the veto to me because we knew i was the renom and that if i went up i likely would be going home (steve had a knack for staying when he was on the block even tho he was a huge threat imo) so me essentially keeping jack not only secured both of us but it made my position in the game even stronger and this is when i feel i was put into a huge power position. Youd think that it would fuck my game over but some of these ppl were idiots during the game and were blind to what was right in front of them

ya i did tell zack everything and basically took over my game and i love him so much i really want him inside of me lol

bitch you BETTER do a blog about the music video, it is the most watched thing of tbb ;)
anyway yes zack's original noms were dee/jack cuz they were an obvious duo but dee played mind games on zack saying she wouldn't use veto if she won making him change it to steve/jack. She did end up winning and obv used it on jack, he threw it to her because she most likely would have been renom and possibly went home. Jordyn/zack made a deal at the end of that week which is why he chose to nominate billy, obviously that move was not good for sara at all since her and billy were getting very close (so are sara and zack)

also the season DOES get better, ur gonna see a lot of tears, surprise nominations, players who were mostly silent emerge from darkness, and more so enjoy!

Something I do disagree with if noms were steve vs jordyn I really don't think gabbie would evict Steve rocker917

My strategy this episode was when it came down to me and dee I make it clear I didn't want to win this comp. when picking the prizes I had a really good feeling the first place prize would be good. So I took the veto just so when dee took the veto she wouldn't be swapping the good prize with someone like malibu. It paid off and I got Pandora's box.

I nulified malibus vote because she was the only honest one with me about her evicting Steve. So I wanted to expose Sara and jordyn to see how she voted
