Gonzalez was born in Puerto Rico and worked in graphic sales. Prior to the show, she bulked up intentionally in order to prepare for the show. As part of the Malolo tribe, she was able to make bonds right away and helped with the building of the shelter. Although she was strong at challenges, at the day 3 immunity challenge, Gonzalez unsuccessfully directed the tribe on the puzzle from the sidelines. Due to winning the challenge, Naviti picked Jacob, the likely first boot, to go to Ghost Island. Without the obvious target around for Tribal, Gonzalez found herself in the hot seat after conspiring to get Donathan out (and not aired on the show, the targets centered on her and Jenna). Her tribe became concerned with her aggressive communication style and when she was informed at tribal that there are plans she was not involved with, she nervously got up and whispered to each tribe member to check their loyalty. At that point, she knew she was a goner, when she was unanimously voted out 8-1 over Donathan, becoming the first person voted out of Survivor: Ghost Island. On her way out, she shaded her tribe mates by stating “One lion, seven sheep – that’s sad”, directing her anger towards perceived leader Brendan.
Gonzalez had to go by her last name due to tribe mate Stephanie Johnson sharing the same name, making her only the second female to go by their surname officially after Sarah Dawson in the Philippines (although others, like Wentworth, exist in unofficial capcities). Since the show, Gonzalez has worked as a “fitness” (Instagram) model.
