In preparation for Survivor 35: Heroes vs. Healers, vs. Hustlers, I decided to do some pre-show first impression blogs for the upcoming cast. There are obvious cast and tribe division spoilers (but no boot/elimination spoilers). Basically, judge them based on first impressions, already leaked Survivor videos of them (pre-show interviews, season 34 finale promo) or whatever criteria you wish.

Lauren is your quintessential older women castaway in a tribe full of young people (she is 37 while the other 5 are 24-25). She is the first Lauren to be on Survivor and the picture on this blog is with her daughter. She is an avid fishermen, so perhaps she can pull out the Rupert/Ozzy strategy and provide for her tribe. A man was charged in 2016 for attempting to murder Lauren with a firearm and also for trying to harm her on multiple occasions before that in 2015. =/
