Currently unsure of which future season is under contention. 41 and 42 have been confirmed to be all newbie, but no concrete confirmation on filming for these seasons, or for 43 and 44. This may be due to the current pandemic, and thus, having previous players compete will reduce danger (in production’s eyes).
Anyways, a list of *potentially* contacted players has circulated forums. This stems from someone within production. No theme has even been thoroughly discussed, especially with the long-withstanding Fiji location now being for sale.
Long talks of an MTV-inspired “Rivals” season has been in the burner, in addition to “Second Chances II”, “Blood vs Water III”, “Fans vs Favorites III”, “Old School vs New School”, and the long-anticipated “Heroes vs Villains II”. The list of contacted individuals does not narrow to any particular theme, but this may be due to multiple themes in contention to prepare for any rejections/acceptances.
