also you are my friend but like, ENABLE? i think that is a bit of a stretch, i have played like 20 suitman games and even before his new rules he would ALWAYS try to mediate situations
Kelly0412 Enable 100%. Not speaking up is enabling. What's worse is not being bothered at all about racial slurs being used. Suitman cared more about cheating than racism and it showed. As a POC, I'm disgusted by him and believe that he enables racism.
Let me make it sincerely clear to you that I most definitely do NOT condone any of that shit. What I have admitted and owned up to, is not taking action on it within my game in the past has been a mistake. Originally I didn't touch or interfere with social issues in my games because for many years there WAS none and so when it occured I had no protocol or procedure for it.
Suitman13 lack of experience is not an excuse. For someone who has been on tengaged for over a decade, combined with life experience, you should know what is and isn't acceptable. I voiced to you MULTIPLE times about what/how I felt and you dismissed my feelings and continued to allow bigotry in your games. Your game was the single worst experience i've had in any game on here and you did not give a fuck. You treated as if it was a joke, allowing multiple "warnings" for each specific offence of homophobia/racism/ableism. Someone saying the n word 5 times in a short period of time was considered ONE of THREE strikes for ONE specific offence. According to those rules, someone would be allowed to have 6 instances of problematic behaviour before you forced yourself to remove them. Lets not act like you had any care in the world for the people playing your game. You wanted drama and entertainment, and it showed when you mailed me invites multiple times after Crisis as if nothing had happened.
Suitman is a legend. He is the reason Group Games even became popular along with Turney and Rshow and Bingo. Likeeee I don't like being on this VILE site, I pop in when im told to check something like this and normally go about my way, but I feel compelled to defedn Shawn.
Shawn has always wanted to take a HANDS OFF approach. Let the players sort it out, if there that disgusted vote them out. However, more recently he has really tried to regin in the bad behavior and people still give him hell. I wont stand for becuase Suitman13 is an angel.. #Bye

Shawn said he had no experience dealing with problematic behaviour while you're saying he chose to ignore it. Which is it? manalord it’s not about defending him LMAO. You have no right to suppress the feelings of others by saying you won’t stand for him being criticized (as he should be). He deserves criticism for enabling problematic behaviour and he has yet to take accountability for intents/actions.

There are sitatuons in the past that have gone past the exterme and Suitman13 can confirm himself i gave him fucking hell for that and have always tried to push shawn to be a bit more forceful. But all of a sudden Tengaged is on a crusade about moral correctness... like? good luck.. If you want 'moral' correctiness go play in another community, this isnt the place for that. But most of the people here couldnt handle it so.. And with this I am ending my responses because we won't see eye to eye and we wont change each others opinon. Shawn has been my friend for years and years and years, a vast majority of his time hosting and I just wont sit there and let people attack him, when I dont think they are right or they are not really the ones who should be preaching 'morals' (and im not saying that is you, I dont really know you, but in general)
manalord That entire response is very ignorant. The answer to dealing with racism and homophobia shouldn’t be “go somewhere else”. At the end of the day it’s not your job to decide whether or not the feelings of others are “right”. Feelings aren’t right or wrong, they just are and you can’t say how others feel is not correct.
