when a bunch of kids gang up on my daughter on the school bus and bully her for being accepted into the Gifted and Talented Program.

I mean, I got bullied for being a fatty when I was in school...bullying should NOT be tolerated and even though the schools nowadays say they have a No Bullying Policy/Zero Tolerance, it still fucking happens.
Piper is only in SECOND grade and is being bullied by kids who are in SIXTH grade.
Idk it depends on the ppl running the school. Some play favorites, some don't care, some act like it's not a real problem and others will go to great lengths to find the cause and stop it.
If ur school doesn't do anything gather evidence and even voice recordings of the teachers and take it to the school board.
Aw im sorry to hear that. Ya kids these days are horrible. They were bad too even in the 1990s when i was in elementary school. Like in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade I got bullied by these 3 boys that were in my class. They threw rocks, pencils, and food at me. And they said alot of mean things too. My parents and I complained to the principal a lot but they didn't even do much. All they did was give the boys detention most of the time and they suspended them once for 1 week. I was like really they actually think that is going to stop the kids from bullying me? And it obviously didn't help because they still kept bullying me. What they need to do to these kids that bully is expel them for the rest of the school year and not let them go onto the next grade level. They deserve to be held back a grade level until they can learn to not bully people.

I'd take up with the kids, school AND parents. People need to teach their kids it's not okay to treat others like shit. I can't believe she's being bullied so young
poor girl that is horrible! kids can be so horrible for anything they deem different like how clever your daughter is. I didnt get bullied but i remember changing my answers to wrong answers in a maths quiz in class so people wouldnt make fun of me getting another full marks. Too bad my teacher worked out what i did and called me out in front of the whole class...
Sorry to hear :( hope she's okay. I know it's hard to do, but tell piper to stand up for herself if she can? Fire insults back. Or just simply ignore. If she's gives them absolutely no attention at all, they will move on. Hope things get better
Maybe if you spent half the time you do on tengaged making her hit the weight gym and teaching her how to lay the verbal smackdown on others then she wouldnt be bullied
My roommate was telling me his sister was being picked on in elementary school cuz of the same thing and maturing early. I was never public schooled after kindergarten besides college so to me it seems like so dumb and I wonder why people do it. No point, it is just nasty
staymellow you've got to be joking. Maybe parents should teach their kids not to be so rude just because someone is better than them at something. You really need a reality check hun. Of course you're probably one of those kids that pick on others cus you're so miserable you have to try to bring them down to your level.
