Jeff: “Previously on Survivor! 16 castaways started the adventure of a lifetime and were split into two tribes of 8, Viti wearing blue, and Kadavu wearing red! At the Viti tribe, Bob was getting under everybody’s skin, while Dan was seen as over strategizing. At the Kadavu tribe, Darrius was outed immediately while searching for the hidden immunity idol, and targets started to form. At the first challenge, Viti won immunity, sending Kadavu to tribal council. Back at camp, a majority alliance formed as Kool worked to get out his number one target, Darrius. All went awry when Carolina flipped and started targeting Kool, but it wasn’t enough to stop Darrius from becoming the first person voted out. 15 are left, who will be voted out tonight?!

Kadavu Tribe
Night 3

Kool: “Good job guys. First vote of the season is unanimous.”

X (confessional): “We just sent Darrius home and I’m hoping that the vote lightens the mood around camp and helps ease the paranoia of idols.”

Melinda: “You heard Jeff, united but not one big family.”

Melinda (confessional): “Darrius went home unanimously last night, but seeing my name made me a little worried, there was clearly a plan to take me out, it just failed. I need to start searching for the idol or I could be the next to go.”

Viti Tribe
Day 4

*The camera shows Brendon, Eddie, Admir, and Dyl talking at camp*

Eddie: “What are your guys’ thoughts on alliances and such?”

Dyl: “I really haven’t talked much strategy with anyone, guess that comes with winning challenges.”

Admir: “The two names I constantly hear are Bob and Dan.”

Eddie: “Who’s throwing Dan’s name out?”

Dyl: “I know Bob wants Dan gone. He can’t stand him. Didn’t you hear his freak out the other day when I told Bob that Dan was throwing his name around?”

Eddie (confessional): “I’m not sure why Dan’s name is being thrown around, he’s one of our strongest competitors and secured the win at the last challenge. These people are playing stupid.”

Eddie: “If we were to go to tribal, I think we can get seven votes on Bob. He’s a mess, and camp life would be so much more delightful if he wasn’t around.”

Admir (confessional): “Everyone on the tribe has a collective hate for Bob, and I get it, he’s rude, arrogant, and all around a nasty guy, but he isn’t a threat, nobody is giving Bob the million dollars at the end, and he’ll always be a bigger target than me.”

Admir: “I think that Bob will always be a bigger target than the four of us, so I think that we have to push our personal opinions aside, as hard as that might be, and look at from a strategic standpoint.”

Eddie: “Would you rather see Dan go home?”

Admir: “I don’t think voting Dan out is the right move necessarily, I think we have to look at the more low-key players, Nathan and Jason are on everybody’s good side and have the potential to go deep into the game.”

Eddie (confessional): “Admir does have a good point about Bob being a shield for myself and my alliance members, I just hope we continue to win in the challenges so we don’t have to worry about it too much.”

*The camera cuts to Nathan, Jason, and Dan talking in the water and Bob approaches them*

Dan: “Hey what’s up Bob?”

Bob: “I want to apologize for my actions earlier. It was insensitive of me. I got a little freaked out when I heard my name being thrown around.”

Dan: “Nah man you’re cool, don’t worry about it.”

Dan (confessional): “Bob apologizing doesn’t really mean much to me, I know he’s just doing damage control because he knows if we lose the next challenge he’s number one on the chopping block, so I take just about anything he says with a grain of salt.”

Jason: “How do you guys feel about the other four guys?”

Dan: “They’re all over each other. I see them talking all the time and I can’t help but worry.”

*The camera pans to Admir, Eddie, Dyl, and Brendon laughing with each other*

Nathan: “I think Eddie is playing really hard to get on everyone’s good side right now. He’s dangerous.”

Bob (confessional): “I know I’m the black sheep of this tribe, and I like it. Being the number one target looks great at the end. I’m working hard to build relationships and I’ve cemented myself into an alliance with Nathan, Jason, and Dan, four guys who I think are willing to work with me now and hopefully down the line.”

Kadavu Tribe
Day 4

*The camera shows Adam and Melinda talking while walking to the water well*

Adam: “Last night’s vote was pretty satisfying, I was kind of surprised to see your name written down.”

Melinda: “Yeah, it made me kind of nervous, clearly there was a plan to take me out that I knew nothing about.”

Adam: “Well I trust you and if I hear your name from anyone I will come straight to you.”

Melinda (confessional): “I feel like in Survivor you need your right hand man, and my right hand man is Adam, he’s honest and I know I can trust him.”

Melinda: “I feel like I want to start looking for an idol.”

Adam: “Right now?”

*Melinda smiles at Adam and they both begin frantically searching for an idol*

Melinda: “Where are you idol?”

*Adam is flipping over rocks while Melinda is searching through nearby trees*

Melinda: “Oh my God.”

*Melinda sees a red string wrapped around the branch of a large tree and starts to pull it out*

Melinda: “Please be an idol please be an idol.”

*Melinda pulls out the remainder of the string and shoves what she finds in her pants without Adam seeing*

Adam: “Any luck?”

Melinda: “No, it’s gotta be around here somewhere.”

Melinda (confessional): “Oh my God oh my God.” “Congratulations, you have found a hidden immunity idol, this idol must be played for yourself or another castaway before the votes are read and has no power after the final five tribal council.” *Melinda kisses the idol* “I can’t believe I just found an idol. This is a game changer, this gives me immense power and I don’t plan on telling anyone, even my right hand man.”

*The camera then cuts to Kool, X, and John talking while tending the fire*

John: “There’s no way this tribe isn’t going to implode when we get to a swap or a merge, I don’t trust half of these people.”

X: “You two are the only people I feel comfortable talking strategy with.”

Kool: “Well I obviously don’t trust Carolina” *the camera shows Carolina* “and Melinda gives me bad vibes. There’s no way I can trust her long term.”

Kool (confessional): “The Kadavu tribe is an absolute mess. We have Carolina who tried to flip the script last tribal to get me out, and Melinda goes off into the forest for hours at a time with Adam. If we lose the next immunity challenge, one of the girls have got to go.”

Kool: “If it came down to it I’d write either of their names down.”

John: “Ya know if we do end up going to tribal I don’t think there’s anything they could do to save themselves, we’ll have our pick.”

X: “Yeah…”

X (confessional): “Kool and John seem to think they’re running the show around camp, and it’s very irritating. I like Melinda, I don’t want to see her go. It’s time to flip the script on Kool and John. It’s time for a Survivor blindside.”

*The camera cuts to X walking up Adam, Melinda, and Ryan*

X: “They’re over there talking about who’s their next pick if we lose.”

Melinda: “What?”

Ryan: “Who are they going after?”

X: “Kool says he doesn’t trust either of the girls and wouldn’t mind sending either of them home if we lose tomorrow.”

Melinda (confessional): “Kool is a snake, I don’t blame Carolina for wanting to vote him out last tribal. If we can rally the troops to take out Kool or John that would be an ideal tribal.”

Melinda: “I don’t trust either one of those boys, I haven’t from the beginning. Kool tried to dictate which way we voted last tribal with little concern of what the rest of the group wanted.”

Ryan: “We need to keep any possible plan to blindside them on the low, if they get word that something fishy is going on, they WILL wreak havoc.”

Adam: “Do we think either of them could have an idol?”

Ryan: “Doubtful. They’d probably be gloating about it.”

X: “No, I think they’re smarter than that. Regardless of how arrogant they may seem and how much control they think they have, they’re smart players, I just think they’re willing to do whatever it takes to win this game.”

Adam: “Well they can’t shine forever.”

*The camera pans out to Carolina sitting alone on the beach*

Carolina (confessional): “Ever since last tribal nobody has made any effort to communicate with me” *starts crying* “or check up on me. I feel completely alone out here, and I can’t play this game alone. I need allies, I need people I can trust, and I don’t trust anybody on this tribe.”

Viti Tribe
Day 5

*The camera shows Nathan and Jason spear fishing, Eddie, Dyl, and Brendon on the beach, and Admir and Dan tending the fire*

*The camera then cuts to the beach*

Dyl: “This sitting around doing no strategy talk is killing me.”

Eddie: “Don’t get too eager. The more we keep winning, the better chance we all have at the merge.”

Brendon: “Do you really think we’re going to stay eight strong at the merge?”

Eddie: “I think it’s possible, and more than that I think it’s necessary. We know and trust each other more than the people on the other tribe. It’s our only chance.”

Brendon (confessional): “Eddie has this idea that all eight of us are going to stay strong until the final eight and then have a Viti war after. We are not a cohesive unit, I don’t believe that any of these people are truly Viti strong.”

Dyl: “One day at a time, one day at a time…”

*The camera cuts to the ocean*

Nathan: “We need food, come on you damn fish.”

*Nathan and Jason continue to try and catch fish*

Jason: “I got one! I got one! It’s a big one, too.”

Jason (confessional): “Being able to provide for my tribe is something I truly value out here. Being the provider of food is something that can keep you in the game for at least a few votes.”

Nathan (screaming to tribe): “We got one!”

*Everybody cheers in excitement*

*The camera cuts back to camp, where the tribe is enjoying the fish*

Dan: “Mm, this is delicious.”

Admir: “Thank you Jason!”

Admir (confesional): “Being able to have moments of bonding with the whole tribe has made us grow a lot closer, I do believe that we are becoming a unit and we’re going to be a force to be reckoned with.”

*The camera cuts to Dan, Nathan, and Jason talking in the water*

Dan: “So I feel like us three are pretty solid.”

Nathan: “Yeah I trust you guys a lot.”

Dan: “I really hope we don’t have to go to tribal, but you always need a plan in place in the case that we do.”

Jason: “I think that everybody is still fed up enough with Bob that we can make him an easy vote.”

Jason (confessional): “Bob has lightened up quite a bit since we won the challenge, I don’t know if he knows he’s in danger or if he actually cares about the tribe, but he’s still annoying, he still dictates around camp, and people don’t like that. Bob is an easy first vote.”

Dan: “Bob has made efforts to try and talk strategy with me, but he’s never willing to say a name. He doesn’t know who he wants out, and that scares me.”

Nathan: “He doesn’t understand the social aspect of the game, that is making genuine connections with people”

Jason: “If we lose I don’t think any of us have anything to worry about. I trust this three fully.”

Dan (confessional): “Everybody seems on board to take Bob out, but I’ve heard my name brought up in conversation before, and that worries me. We need to win this next challenge, or my head could be on the chopping block.”

Immunity Challenge
Day 6

Jeff: “Come on in guys!”

*The Viti tribe walks in followed by the Kadavu tribe*

Jeff: “Viti tribe getting your first look at the new Kadavu tribe…. Darrius voted out at the last tribal council.

Jeff: “First things first gotta take back the idol.”

*Dan hands the idol to Jeff*

Jeff:  “Thank you. You guys ready to get to today’s immunity challenge?”

*The castaways all say yes*

Jeff: “For today’s challenge you are going to hold eight ten-pound sandbags above your head, at regular intervals one person from each tribe will drop out, forcing less people to hold more weight. When a sandbag drops, your tribe loses. You are also playing for reward, wanna know what you’re playing for?”

*Both tribes scream yes*

Jeff: *reveals fishing gear* “A massive fishing gear set.”

Jason: “Hell yeah.”

Jeff: “Viti you have one extra member, who are you gonna sit out?”

*Dyl puts his hand up*

Jeff: “Alright, Dyl take a spot on the sit out bench, we’ll get started!”

*The castaways take their place, and everybody has one sandbag above their head, expect for Nathan and John with two a piece*

Jeff: “This challenge is on!”

*The castaways begin to switch the hand they’re holding the bag with*

Jeff: “This challenge is very simple, hold the bags above your head as long as you can. This challenge could last an hour or could be over in five minutes.”

*15 minutes pass*

Jeff: “Alright you’re going to have one person drop from each tribe!”

*Brendon and Carolina both drop*

Jeff: “Brendon dropping, passing his bag to Dan, and Carolina giving hers to X.”

*John gives one of his bags to Kool*

Jeff: “This is where the challenge gets tricky, do you risk dropping a bag to pass it to someone else, or do you hold on?”

*15 minutes pass*

Jeff: “Alright, one more person from each tribe needs to drop!”

*Bob and Melinda drop*

Jeff: “Bob giving his bag to X.. X is now holding three bags, and Melinda gives her bag to Adam, who is now holding two.”

*X begins to struggle*

Jeff: “X is going to pass one of his bags to Admir to relieve the tension from holding up thirty pounds. We are down to five people on each tribe, this challenge could end very quickly!”

*Both tribes begin to struggle with their weight*

Jeff: “Both tribes are struggling to hold their bags!”

*Nathan almost drops a bag but saves it*

Jeff: “Nathan with a nice save!”

*The camera shows both Viti and Kadavu almost dropping their bags*

*John drops one of his bags, causing red water to dump onto the Kadavu tribe*

Jeff: “Viti wins their second immunity challenge! Sending Kadavu back to tribal council!”

*The camera cuts to both tribes on their mats*

Jeff: “Viti, congratulations.”

*Viti cheers as Jeff hands the idol to X*

Jeff: “This massive fishing gear set will be waiting for you back at camp. Enjoy the night off.”

*Viti walks out*

Jeff: “Kadavu, tonight you will vote a second member out from your tribe. Head back to camp, I’ll see you tonight!”

Carolina (confessional): “Another loss is very upsetting, especially when your head is on the chopping block, I have an uphill battle today, but I will not give up.”

Kadavu Tribe
Day 6

Adam: “Good try guys.”

Melinda: “Yeah you guys did great.”

Melinda (confessional): “Going back to tribal is something I did not want to do. I have a hidden immunity idol, but I’d really like to save it for later on in the game.”

*The camera cuts to everybody except Kool and John talking in the water*

X: “I just want to say that I am with you guys. I don’t trust those two.” *The camera shows Kool and John*

Carolina: “I would be 100% on board with making a move against them tonight.”

Carolina (confessional): “This is music to my ears. If we send Kool or John packing tonight, I think this tribe has a strong chance of moving forward cohesively.”

Ryan: “We have five votes against their two, do you think we should split it?”

Adam: “I really don’t think either of them have an idol.”

Adam (confessional): “Splitting the votes with this amount of people is never a good idea, all it takes is one person to flip and one of us could be going home, and if Kool or John do play an idol, I feel pretty confident that I won’t be the one going home.”

Carolina: “Kool is definitely playing a more strategic and long-term game than John, it just makes me nervous that Kool could pull something out of his sleeve. John never leaves camp unless he’s fishing. There’s no way that John has an idol.”

Adam: “I’m just not sure we’ll have another chance to take Kool out, and John is a lot more physically dominant in the challenges.”

Adam (confessional): “There are pros and cons to taking out both Kool and John. Kool is a lot sneakier and could have the idol, and John is his right hand man who’s stronger in challenges. I don’t know what’s going to happen tonight, but somebody is coming back to camp with a grudge.”

*The camera cuts to Kool and John talking at camp*

John: “What are they talking about down there?”

Kool: “I think they’re planning our demise” *laughs*

John (confessional): “Being excluded from a conversation after losing a challenge is never a good sign. Kool and I are extremely close and people could see that as a threat.”

Kool: “I think we have some scrambling to do.”

*Ryan and X both walk back up to camp*

Ryan: “Hey guys.”

Kool: “What’s going on, are we in trouble?”

Ryan: “We’re just trying to make Carolina feel comfortable in case she has an idol.”

Kool: “Tonight has to be Carolina. She was willing to flip against the majority last tribal and she would flip on you guys in a heartbeat.”

X: “You know I’m on board with that.”

Ryan (confessional): “Kool does make a good point about Carolina, she did try to flip on us last tribal, and that could be a problem down the line in a merge scenario. X and I are making Carolina, Kool, and John feel as comfortable as they can going into tribal.”

*The camera cuts to Ryan and X talking alone at the beach*

X: “I think we’re in charge of how this tribal goes tonight.”

Ryan: “Lines will definitely be drawn at the end of all this, we just need to decide who we want on our side.”

X: “Who do you trust more: Kool or Carolina?”

Ryan: “Carolina is desperate, and any name we would have said she would’ve been on board with, even if it was me or you, but Kool is playing a lot wiser than Carolina.”

X (confessional): “Going into tribal tonight Ryan and I have a big decision to make. We can either vote out Carolina or split up the Kool/John duo, we haven’t made up our minds yet and might not until we go to tribal, but no matter what happens, the lines will be drawn.”

Tribal Council
Night 6

*All seven Kadavu members walk in and sit down*

Jeff: “So the last tribal council was a unified vote against Darrius, can we expect the same for tonight, John?”

John: “I don’t think so. I think some of us will be going back to camp blindsided one way or the other.”

Jeff: “Carolina that’s never good to hear, that tonight is going to be a blindside.”

Carolina: “No it’s not, you know I’ve definitely heard my name thrown around and I’m a little nervous tonight.”

Jeff: “Adam, going back to camp after the challenge, did people immediately begin strategizing?”

Adam: “Uh yeah you know everybody has their own idea of what’s going to happen tonight, it’s just about whether other people have the same idea as you.”

Jeff: “Does that ring true for you, Kool?”

Kool: “Yeah when people are having conversations without you you can’t help but wonder if there’s other plans for tonight.”

Jeff: “Well that’s the fun of Survivor, everybody has their own agenda, and nobody truly knows where people stand until a torch is snuffed.”

*Adam smiles as Ryan and X whisper back and forth*

Ryan (whispering): “...yeah…”

*X nods his head at Ryan*

Jeff: “Melinda, having people at tribal whisper back and forth can’t give you a good feeling.”

Melinda: “Yeah you know we came here with a plan set in place and I’m just hoping that people stick to it.”

Jeff: “On that note it is time to vote, Carolina, you’re up.”

*Kool is seen holding up a vote that says “Carolina”*

Kool: “I haven’t trusted you since you threw my name out, hope I’m on the same page with everyone tonight.”

*Everyone else votes*

Jeff: “I’ll go tally the votes.”

*Jeff comes back with the urn*

Jeff: “If anybody has a hidden immunity idol and you’d like to play it, now would be the time to do so.”

*Kool looks around*

*Melinda looks down at her bag*

Jeff: “Alright, I’ll read the votes.”

Jeff: “First vote…. Carolina”

“Carolina. That’s two votes Carolina”

*Carolina grabs her face*

“John”

“John. That’s two votes Carolina, two votes John”

“John. That’s three votes John, two votes Carolina.”

*John and Kool look at Ryan and X*

“Second person voted out… John, you need to bring me your torch.”

*John shakes his head and he grabs his torch*

Jeff: “John, the tribe has spoken.” *snuffs torch* “Time for you to go.”

*John leaves*

Jeff: “Well with six people left on your tribe and the lines drawn, it should make for an interesting next couple of days. Head out, goodnight.”

Wow awesome. First one of the season on the Sandra bench! No confessionals :( But I can't complain, my name isn't a target, and it seems like my annoyance with no strategy talk just means that there'll hopefully be lots of strategizing down the line ;)
