I'm fucking off to Toronto tomorrow and need advice from Canadians (esp. Torontonians) on good places to eat, good bars/clubs, things to see, things to do, and whatever else I should know. Finna have a real Canadian experience 😏 what u got for me?
LMAO
This is basic af but if you're in toronto you NEED to go to the CN Tower.
If you're into animals, the Ripley's Aquarium and the Toronto Zoo are both pretty cool. Then there's ROM (Royal Ontario Museum) which I hate but some people enjoy.
I suggest going to Niagara Falls too.
A couple other cool places near/in Toronto:
-Vaughn Mills (Mall)
-Canada's Wonderland (roller coasters)
-Toronto Eaton Centre
-Casa Loma (historic castle)
ripleys aquarium <3 also check out what plays are happening at the royal alexandra theatre if youre into shows :)) hope youre there long enough so we can meet when i get to ott!!!
spiderboomfetish saved TNT, thanks girls pureessence ripleys aquarium sounds lit 😎 i think i leave before you go back tho chibideidara LMAO randybandy not sure i have time for that on the itinerary bluejay7622 top respect wes can always rely on u for the good tips
I also second Ripley's Aquarium - it was really nice. I heard Scarborough bluffs are good but i've never been.... I'd say avoid CN tower unless you just want a view of the city. It's a touristy thing to do if that's what you want - but personally I didn't think it's worth the price
BengalBoy "Slow Roasted Beef Brisket
Our briskets take five days to prepare. They are given a dry rub and then allowed to marinate for three days, slowly absorbing the flavours of the custom-made seasoning. Once they have finished marinating, they are slow-cooked for 12 hours, and then allowed to rest for 24 hours until the meat is (as Toronto Life has described it) "impossibly tender"."
Oh and I didn't see but as bluejay7622 said, Kensington market is really good
Kensington Market has a little bit of everything if you wanna do a bit of a food/pub crawl. What kind of bars are you looking for?? Mothers dumplings is the best meal you can have in the city though for sure
Daytime beers in trinity Bellwood parks on a hot day are also pretty good. Head over to Toronto island for a day too. You can rent a bike and drive around, there’s a few different beaches and a lot of greeenery
Some of my go to spots in Downtown Toronto for food etc.
Messini has great Greek food but it's on the Danforth
Spring Sushi overpriced AYCE but still good
Harlem Underground, Sneaky Dee's
Korea Town for Karaoke
Woodbine beach
St. Lawrence Market
Steamwhistle Brewery Tour
Warehouse on Yonge: has cheap food 5.95 for everything
Bandit Brewery
Henderson Brewing Co
Bubble Tea Places I like: Labothery, Chattime, Gong Cha, Cocos, etc.
Last Suggestion go down to the harbourfront and pick up a Beavertail!
a few i definitely recommend that i've seen already are kensington market, warehouse (there are three locations, all great, food and drink super cheap and good), sneaky dee's is a great bar/restaurant/stage where there is usually live music and the nachos are incredible
there's this great ice cream place called sweet jesus that does crazy shit that i recommend, centre island is a cute little amusement park that you take a ferry to, korea town has so many different great food places and bars and karaoke
