So for my next audio blog, I am going to talk about songs that people select as being important to them or that they love beyond measure. It might be varied in that I might give my opinion on the song or I might talk about the meaning behind the song or what I think about the artist as a whole.

Let’s go with that Hercules song - Go the Distance
I liked how they split the song up and changed the lyrics ever so slightly to reflect the changes in his mindset as he learned more about himself.
That song / movie spoke to me because it emphasized that no matter how much of an outsider we feel because of our differences, those differences make us special and can be our strengths. And that there will be someone / a group of people who will welcome you because of those unique traits. I think it subconsciously taught me (or reinforced to me) to be myself and accept everyone as they are and encourage them in their pursuits because you never know what a person is truly capable of.
Idk if I did this wrong haha. But there you go! If you can’t get to me it’s ok!
