I have this book I keep quotes in and poetry that I write. I dont share it very often but I like my latest poem so I'm going to share it. Here goes:

They say it's such a time to be alive,
but do you know where I am when I close my eyes?
I'm in a world of peace, love, and passion,
of beauty, of simplicity, and compassion.
Not a world of war, of hate, and disgust,
of little morals, of beasts, and lust.
I live in a world where everyone's equal,
they can be whoever they want to be.
Not where everyone runs and hides,
frightened of the judgement of their own company.
I love, I live and let live,
but I have no excuse for my own sin.
If I want the world to be like my head,
I must commit to the things I've said.
I can't sit here and remain a hypocrite,
I must complete my actions to the fill of it.
Teach others the way of life,
and live by that word.
I will make that my message, and one to be heard.
