foreign country, would you rather do it
a) by yourself
b) with 2-5 other people
c) with more than 5 people
Honestly for me option B is the best. If you were alone that would just be sad, if you were with too many people you'd see nothing. There would always be someone wanting to eat, pee or whatever. I tried that in Vienna with like 15 people in the group and we ended up splitting into few smaller groups.
That is so interesting! After travelling with people, I now just go alone and use google maps and Ubers. I pretend I'm meeting people if I am in a car wi a stranger or speaking to someone, so I'm not a target.
I just do my research and find what I want. I hated travelling and having to wait for other people, or them getting impatient if I went to the gym or if we only had one day left and wanted to see different things. People are clingy when you travel together and can get super pissy if you suggest splitting up, in my experience. Maybe I've just travelled with the wrong people haha
I've solo traveled to Hong Kong, Singapore, NZ, across AU, and some parts of S. Korea and it sucked honestly. Having even just one friend would have been so much better. And I wouldn't have had to ask someone to take my picture (no I didn't have a selfie stick) lol
