Thank you so much tengaged! I owe a great lot to you for saving me and giving me the last push to finals < 3. I'm so ecstatic.
My first stars. My first finals. I came into this game scared shitless. I began to gather my bearings, and start to really understand what I was doing. I started off in majority, and our alliance stayed strong for the first 3 sets. Then I began to realize that people were riding the middle to save their asses and started splitting the sets. I then made it my goal to take those people out of the game ASAP and I did, after the splits stopped happening and people realized what they were doing. The second half of the game I felt like I was in a really good position, and I was. After going up for 7th, I realized the sets I needed to get up and I got them up.
Now everyone has been saying nobody respects my gameplay because I was a sheep. I played my own game, not anyone elses, as was clear when I went up for 4th against Jamie. When he went up he flipped out because everyone who he was lying to and manipulating to make sure they voted how he asked. The rounds before that, if I said anything about getting out Jamie, it would have gone right back to him. I took a risk at the noms for 4th by proposing nominating Jamie. He gave me his word, which is apparently seemed to have a lot of value given how "nice" he is, that he would not leak back to Jamie. On our first call he immediately reported to Jamie that I called him. So then on this second call, I revealed Jamie's manipulation and he pretended like he was down to stop this, and instead nominated me for lying to him, and later told Jamie everything I said to him. Jamie now is supporting acyuta when he had told me acyuta was doing nothing in the game but blindly listening to Jamie without any thought. He is strictly "friends" and supporting acyuta so that I don't win because I made a game move, getting the biggest strategic threat out of the game, and he didn't like that.
I played this game to the best of my abilities for my FIRST STARS. Did I play a flawless game? Of course not, it's hard to do your first time. But I did try the whole time to do my best and make finals just like everyone else did. I would appreciate any votes I get from you, tengaged!
