I believe that Kristie made, excluding a binary decision like Colby taking Tina or Woo taking Tony, or something completely suicidal like Erik handing over immunity or Tyson voting himself off, the WORST move in the history of Survivor at the final 5.
She went with the strongest pair who openly admitted they'd take each other.
She went the strongest pair physically, who statistically are more likely to beat her at any given challenge.
She spurned a very beatable Flick and Matt, who, in a season of 'players get snuffed,' would have probably both taken her, and also been torched by the jury.
Basically we all know how ridiculous this war.
And yet she wins with an impressive tribal council performance, HOWEVER, what am I to think about this move? Is this a total anomalous result? Is there an ounce of strategy someone could alert me to in this? Or is this just Survivor AUS and I shouldn't judge it in the same ways I judge the US version.
I don't like life feeling meaningless. Someone supply me with some MEANING to this.
