Since the 1st semi of Armenia's NF starts tomorrow, I decided to a rankings and review of songs after watching the rehearsals.
1)Tamar "Poison (Ari Ari): As a song this is easily the best of the semi but I am a bit hesitant of her live performance.
2)Angel "Heartbeat" I thought this was eh in studio but her voice/choreography during the rehearsal is really promising.
3)Lusine "If you don't walk me home": A simple but pretty country song. She sings really well live
4)Robert "Get Away with Us":This is decent and had potential but the chorus is just way too simple/repetitive
5)Nemra "I'm a Liar":I like the band and he sings live well but lyrically the song is pretty weak.
6)Gevorg "Stand Up": It's ok but too theatrical for me
7)Gata "Shogha": This is actually a decent Armenian folk song but it would be a mess on ESC stage
8)Zhanna "Unbreakable":Forgettable pop and looks really awkward on stage
9)Hayk Kasparov: I dont get Armenia's obsession with Spanish this year but nope.
10)Mger Armenia:Not only does this song drag, I mostly have him last cause of his personality. He is really egotistical and genuinely thinks that none of the other competitors' songs are even close to the quality of his. I also wouldnt put it past him to do something shady with the televotes.
and LOL Mger's song is so bad and dated. I SWEAR IF HE WINS...
