Well she was. She was my entry and she came 10th in TSC130 with this song..
And here's what you all thought about it.
krrais 10) Fleur & Cutline : her singing is too much, the song starts too loud, i lost my interest since the beginning
NerdBird44 10) Fleur and Cutline : Doesn't seem like Summer at all! :/
Otherwise, I love the vocal and beat! But I can't get over the fact that this song made it into a "Summer" theme..
Insanity 10. Fleur & Cutline - This is a great example of how not to dubstep. Song overall was annoying as well.
ricktworick1 10. Fleur & Cutline - Ok, I hate the dubstep part, but the verses are really good. Not really sure :L
sarahnva 10. Fleur & Cutline - I didn't want to like the song, but I did enjoy the rough and edgy parts. I'm guessing they're not part of the "chorus," but it was a nice transition to the repetitive pop sounding song.
pok3rf4ce 10) Fleur & Cutline – Love this one. Yes, queen, yes!
Rosscoe44 10) Fleur & Cutline- Loved it great beat and amazing vocals.
Monrooster 10 - Fleur & Cutline - Personally this dubstep doesn't say summer to me and there's an overall dark feeling to the song and video. Good beat though and I can seem them getting a hit soon.
Music 10) Fleur & Cutline her voice was great.. loved the beat 1:09-1:33
bibbles 10) Fleur & Cutline – this too much about her, its to contrived!! Worse use of dubstep ever!!
Limegrass 10) Fleur & Cutline - god this is great. conflicting opinions ove here. the good songs are gonna have to stop soon.
oleary91 10) Fleur & Cutline - I think I can tell who this is my the message! Maybe not though. I really love this.
FlameonX 10) Fleur & Cutline - Is this dubstep? It's not too bad!
tbbars 10. Fleur & Cutline - It's a bit of a try-hard effort and it's generic, the first dubstep is too early and messy, half-decent
cheznahuf 10) Fleur & Cutline - ok, so like it had good voices and a decent workable beat....and then the glitch sounds started, and I fell in love. This was great.
Jacob_96 10 Fleur and Cutline - This grew on me, I love the dubstep.
pablito 10. Fleur & Cutline - Ah, the revelry of a nice continuous keyboard set in the background. Ah, the punctuousness of an intense female voice. Ah, the coprolalia of a dubstep beat. This song has the elements of everything that TSC needed. Everything except a severe dubstep. Remove that and this song is a winner, an annoying one, but it would've been a clear winner. I can't support it now.
BlueStar 10) Fleur & Cutline - When did TSC get so chavvy, ugh the noise :|
Tepr 10) Fleur & Cutline - Much better than expected
LisaSak 10. Fleur & Cutline - I thought it would just be another generic pop song, most of it still is, but it had some interesting bits to it. I would like to hear their voices in a completely different kind of song.
hippydude126 10) Fleur & Cutline MY EARS ARE BLEEDING
Jubbzy 10) Fleur & Cutline - Barely fits the theme AT ALL. I don't have time for this wubwuberry.
In two weeks time, the good people of Tengaged Song Contest will be hosting their annual Record of the Year show.
For those of you who don't know what that is, TSC: Record of the Year is where we pit the most popular and successful songs of the year against each other in a bid to find the very best one.
How to play?
In order to take part in TSC: Record of the Year you must submit a song from the past 12 months. In order for that song to be eligible it must meet the following criteria.
- Have placed in the official top 10 charts in either the UK or US.
- Have a YouTube video that is embed-enabled.
- Have been released in 2014 (Some songs released in late 2013, which had the majority of their success in 2014, will also be considered.)
YOU MUST NOT DISCUSS YOUR ENTRY WITH ANYONE ELSE.
So are you up for the challenge? If so, mail me with the song you would like to submit.
Songs will be taken on a first come, first serve basis. If you submit an artist which has already been submitted you will be asked to submit another one.
TSC: Record of the Year 2014 will be taking place on Friday, 12th December 2014.
At the tender age of 28, she is now the sixth oldest person on Tengaged. Congratulations, BlueStar.
She's really gunning for that no.1 spot so if bibbles mysteriously croaks it don't say I didn't warn you.
All jokes aside, happy birthday, dear. Thanks for being you, for putting up with me and always joining TSC when I insist you do even though your taste in songs has become somewhat questionable.. ('Cucurucu', anyone??)
One day you will add me to your list of Tengaged faces that you have met irl but until then you'll have to settle for being "friends", because we are "friends" now, you know? We made it official yesterday!
Have a great day and feel free to use this blog as reason #86 in your #100happydays.
