This was my story of the day to my friends and co-workers, so I thought I'd share it with you guys, too.
I got on the subway this morning around 6am, to go to work. I have about an hour and 15 minute commute. There are always crazies on the subway, but this lady has far exceeded my expectations. As I walked on she was talking about alcohol, marijuana and the fact that she "is black and likes crack" (it was kinda obvious). She then glances over to an older lady and starts saying stuff like "you laughing at me grandma? shut the F*** up before I bite you. I know I ain't go no teeth, but I will use my gums". So I am standing up, reading my book (Mockingjay for anyone who is curious). I decide not to make eye contact with her. All of a sudden I hear "what the F*** are you looking at, whitie?" And I know she's talking to me because I am like the only white person on the train. So, I ignore her. She gets up, gets in my face and starts screaming at me. "You scared of me bitch? Huh, whitie? You gonna get your white cop brothers on me, whitie". I look at her and I'm like "sit down, no one's talking to you". And shes like "But I'm talking to you, whitie". At that point a big guy walked over and stood between us. And she was like "Ohh, look at that. Whitie protectin' whitie".
The rest of the ride she proceeded to get in the face of a Hispanic guy, who threatened to knock her out and that was a great scene. The face of another girl, and another guy who told her she needs to pray.
Living near one of the few Churches of Scientology, I LOVEEEEE it when they come on the train preaching their nonsense and being next to a ghetto girl who shuts him up half way through! good times good times :P
