People who encouraged #Matt64 to kill himself were not held accountable for literally assisting suicide (I had to run #Kelly2722 off the site myself because no action was being taken), and I have intel that one of the most loved/adored person on this website is a pedophile (with hard evidence) but the victim won't agree to come forward because he knows the amount of mindless supporters this person has behind them.
Some people (myself included) have been permed for MUCH less. It's sad but not shocking to see the moderators be reluctant to ban well-liked Tengagers knowing backlash they'll receive. It's why this community will never change.

I do not know if other moderators were on and saw it and did not act. But I have a real life sleeping schedule and work schedule I cannot be up 24/7 to address every issue that crops up on the site. As far as not banning well known users there is nobody I would t ban because of their status on the site and I cannot help ban predators if I am not informed of who they are

Koolness234 You're missing the point. There's an obvious issue here if victims of pedophelia are afraid to report their predator because of their social influence. Many people have felt this and so have I, and not specifically towards your moderation era, but throughout this site's existence.
^ because when an influencial user does get banned, their followers resort to victim blaming and disclaiming all the hard evidence against their friend until they get unbanned. It's been seen on here time and time again.

You mention it is not towards our mod era but specifically mention our mod era, so I am sorry if I misinterpret what you said.
In terms of victim blaming and user accusers when they come forward to share their story similar to Eilish when it happened is a problem. But is not something we can specifically address unless it falls under the context of harassment. I cannot change peoples hearts. However, when that happens it is extremely unsettling for me. Which is why we can handle reports internally and if said victims are afraid of their identify getting out but have credible proof and accusations we can easily issue bans internally. The final ban would be public, but the accuser can never be mentioned and we can keep them anonymous. If you think this will help the user you are vaguely referencing, then please have them contact me on discord/skype or Tengaged if they are comfortable with doing so

As far as predators anytime I identify one I make moves to ban them. When one gets brought to my attention I make moves to ban them.
The issue Akeria brings up which is true of younger lesser known users afraid to make accusations is something that is mimicked offline when victims of sexual predators feel like they cannot speak up due to the backlash they face. The solution is a long one that details the whole entire scope of the site, in making users feel comfortable with sharing information. Luckily the said user has a friend they have confided in, and if they want they can confide in me without fear of their identify getting leaked if they are comfortable with us.
So far moderation has been back banning predators whose actions were well known, and will continue to have to back ban those predators as accusations against them come to light, or are brought back up again. However, back banning the likes of TaraG/Peeps is only a partial remedy as it does not stop future or current predators from commiting crimes. That is why it is not an issue that can soley be solved by the 3 moderators. It has to be solved by every user keeping an eye out and ears open, and reporting said issued when they arise, fostering an environment that is different to the one Akeria mentions is the norm for the site based on user popularity.
