admir of course it is. Games are important too, but the whole point of winning games / earning t$ is that you can cash them out in shops.
Competing shops are now unaffordable and run by people buying themselves out, & gifting shops were killed. So if he does add a new game there still won't be any incentive to play it after people get bored from it.
akeria if you think that 2015-2017 was the peak of Tengaged, and there were a lot of people on then, then you clearly weren’t here before then. I won’t even go into this convo w you. Games are what brought people here; notice how few still remain with shops being the only viable “game” to play.
Literally what you're talking about is some small group of people who always used to be in the shopping game. The point of winning the game is not to win the T$, but to get the satisfaction out of it. Nobody joined tengaged because they knew there would be a shopping game, but to have fun playing survivor/bb.
Of course people cared about shops, but all the people that I've seen leaving this site said its because of multis so having a design gifting game which will serve no purpose is not a strong reason to stay because thats not what they signed up for. They initially signed up for the GAMES on this site. They can dress the avatars on games4girls or any other basic online dressing site. akeria
Akeria fails to remember that updates brought angry blogs from people (especially the shopkeepers who were always enjoying the fruits of multis or their moms debit cards) and that shopkeepers pretty much ruined the return of moderation with their constant bitch fest.
People who weren't shopkeepers LOATHED gifting shops. The same people were gifted week after week, they gifted their multis, they gifted their friends, and it made designs practically worthless. It was dumb, ruined the value, and multi abusers ruled supreme in the game. Not something the majority of ACTUAL Tengaged enjoyed.
lol this isnt even remotely true. People used multis all throughout 2015-2017 and the site was more alive than ever. Its dying because of the lack of updates & removal of 1t$ gifting

Im pretty sure it went downhill from 2015-2017, and it plateaued when they added mods back briefly but it's going downhill again... when I joined at the end of 2011 this site was pretty active and stable, and i know even before I joined it was such a better community then as well
I joined TG in 2009 or 2010 I think, and back then it was really active, everyone was friendly, the focus was on the games, I'm not sure there were even designs back then? There certainly weren't shops anyway. I think I came back in like 2011 or something and it was pretty much the same then. It was difficult to win games because everyone was so active, but that was fine, at least each person was their own person. Moderation was active too. If you PMed a mod you'd get a response the same day.
Imagine how shook I was to come back to this site about 8 years later to find it literally unchanged, apart from new (and shit) competitions and shops selling designs that are literally almost impossible to have the money to buy without paying IRL money. I mean, I like TG, but I'm not about to spend my hard earned cash on some pixels to make my avatar on a website that is dead look nice. The more you buy T$, the less likely it is that Rando is going to come back and invest more time into the site. If we all suddenly stopped lining his pocket, he'd probably be like "????" and make some changes.
Nowadays, instead of taking like 10-30 mins for a game to fill, it can take 12 hours. Games are full of multis ran by 14 year olds who have such empty lives that all they care about is making a pixel on an irrelevant website look nice, and they make themselves feel better about their lives by making themselves popular on here. People are vile to other people on the site, for petty reasons. It's just...shit.
