Survivor Cagayan: Finale Prediction May 21, 2014
imageThe much anticipated finale of #Survivor Cagayan airs tonight with for the first time in 10 seasons there being a final 2 instead of 3. The final 2 implication certainly raises questions as to tactics going into the final 2 tribal councils before the final tribal, but what is the most likeliest outcome of this season's Survivor?

The most likeliest winner: Spencer.

Should Spencer make the final tribal council tonight he should be able to easily get a majority against all 3 of his opponents. The best person for Spencer to be sat alongside in the jury would be Kass. Both being from the brains tribe Spencer can play the good guy to Kass villainous actions in the game. Spencer can say he was more physically dominant whilst at the same time staying true to his word and his allies, playing the game hard but impersonal.

Least likeliest winner: Kass

As aforementioned Kass' villainous antics within the game are going to make it the hardest for her to win. She has no chance of winning the jury over against Spencer. Put her up against another polarizing figure in Tony and she might just get a couple of votes, but Tony will get the majority based upon gameplay. I get that a lot of people like Kass and that she has made the season entertaining but she has really just committed every cardinal sin in the book, she has flipped on not 1 but 2 sets of allies, she flipped a certain hand gesture towards one of the jurors in Trish, annoyed the living daylights out of everyone and destroyed Tony's trust in her. She would struggle to win against even Woo on the jury, the likeable Woo vs the villain Kass could be close and go either way, but I'd give the edge to Woo. Although this is undoubtedly the F2 Kass needs to stand a chance.

How does Tony Win?

For Tony to win it is very simple, eliminate Spencer. The moment Spencer is eliminated from the game is the moment Tony becomes favourite to win Survivor Cagayan. He should win against either Woo or Kass as he can say Woo was his follower and Kass is the villain of the piece and not himself. He needs to stay on his toes and not get eliminated himself though, with the elimination of Trish, Tony is now without a true ally in the game. He may need to win an immunity in this final episode to keep his chances of F2 alive, something he has only done once thus far.

How does Woo Win?

Woo winning survivor would need for him to be up against Kass. Woo's problem is, he is a big target for the tribal votes now. Before last week he was merely a follower incapable of winning the game or seemingly making a strategical move, now however thanks to his move he becomes this big target. Having flipped with Kass, nobody is going to vote Kass as they want to sit next to her come the final 2. Woo's best chance of F2 comes by winning the F4 immunity. The departure of Tony or Spencer at the F4 puts Woo in a great position to push himself into final tribal council.

My Prediction:

Although Spencer is most likely to win should he make the final tribal council, I question whether or not he'll make it. He'll need to win both immunities otherwise he leaves the game instantly on a 3-1 at F4 or 1-0 vote at F3. It may seem predictable but he has been given all the edit, so I think Tony is going to become one of the more controversial winners of Survivor. Perhaps not his fault, I just hope if any lesson is taken from this season it is that never again will there be a Tyler Perry Idol with special powers.

Final 4 Immunity: Spencer wins
Final 4 Tribal: Woo goes out 3-1
Final 3 Immunity: Tony Wins
Final 3 Tribal: Spencer out 1-0
Final Tribal Council: Tony 7-2 Kass.

Survivor Cagayan: Voting With Emotion Is Always A Bad Thing May 16, 2014
imageLast episode on #Survivor Cagayan tempers and emotions were at an all time high and a huge feud between Trish and Kass erupted, with both women calling each other out, Kass flipped off Trish in full frontal view of the jury and made herself even more unpopular than she already is (How was that possible?)

The result of all this saw Trish voted out 4-1 with even Tony flipping to vote his closest ally out. A lot of people have said this move by Tony was silly when he could have saved her with her normal immunity idol. I actually only partially agree with that statement, whilst it puts Tony in a weaker position within his tribe, he is still not the number one target come the next vote. Should Spencer lose the immunity challenge everyone should vote him as he would wipe the floor with them in front of the jury now. Also should Spencer win the immunity challenge, Spencer/Kass should feel compelled to vote out Woo ahead of Tony. Kass needs another polarizing figure alongside her at final tribal council and Spencer needs to secure the 'good guy' jury vote by voting out Woo.

Tony's vote for Trish therefore wasn't even a bad move, it is arguably a good move as it puts on the jury someone is most likely going to vote him. He voted without emotion to remove Trish from the game, whereas Trish on the other hand made one of Survivor's biggest mistakes and did vote with emotion.

Why Trish would ever think of wanting to vote Kass is absurd with how unpopular she is. Kass could have called her every name under the sun and Trish should still not have voted for her. The correct move for Trish last episode would to have been to stick to what Tony's original plan would have been, blindside Woo. If the Tony/Trish vote had of been Woo that tribal council the chances of Tony playing his idol for Trish goes up tenfold. Tony needs a Kass alongside him facing the jury to say, if you think I'm bad, look over here ... I played hard but fair, vote for me. So when Trish wanted to vote Kass, she undoubtedly sealed her fate in the game.

Had Trish played the game correctly, she would now be in the final 4 and Woo would now be on the jury. She made her first real mistake of the game during the last episode, and it cost her dearly.

Next episode should see either Spencer or Woo eliminated from the game, as much as Tony and Kass have differences they need to come together and realise that they need each other in final tribal council to have a complete go at. Tony's move has been ridiculed, I think unjustly, he's put someone on the jury who will most likely vote for him and saved the person who has no chance of getting any votes on the jury, all whilst not putting himself in a damnable position.
