I don't mean to sound harsh but I just can't get into this season. I want to like it but I just really don't. I have not been a fan of this cast at all, of the final 11, there's nobody that I love. The majority of them I feel pretty meh about. And I just fail to connect with really any of them at all, so I sadly disagree with people saying that it's a great cast, for me not a cast that I have been a fan of at all in comparison to other casts. Out of who is left, I only like Michael, Sebastian and Jenna the most, but we literally don't see Seb and Jenna at all and Michael I feel like is screwed in winning the game because I don't see him having any path to the end, the others I don't have a reason to hate, but I also just don't particularly have any reasons to root for them and I get that Dom and Wendell are fairly big characters but I am on the fence with them. It's been very predictable gameplay for me, just about every elimination I have seen coming. I don't look at spoilers but...Gonzalez I knew would go after she whispered, Jacob I basically knew nobody trusted him and I was rooting for him to stay so it sucked seeing him go, the Morgan one was definitely a blindside, however throughout that tribal when she was feeling super comfortable, for me the writing was on the wall. The Brendan vote I think we sorta did, sorta didn't see coming, that was a great tribal but just in the back of my mind I almost knew it wouldn't work out for the Malolo's, then seeing Steph go straight after sucked but was such a boring episode, James I guess was slightly up in the air, I was probably more surprised Michael turned on him as oppose to James being voted out though. Bradley was definitely satisfying though, was not a fan of him, and I get that he was a great strategist but I just could not stand him as a character. Then Chris I knew in the back of my mind would go home, even when he got the idol, he just seemed way too confident and he wasn't playing a good social game so he was always going to get votes...then finally Libby. The moment that Michael was thrown around as the major target and Libby the backup, I knew she was gone, Michael made a great idol play, but because Malolo would not stick together I knew there wouldn't be enough numbers to get rid of Wendell. Ghost Island as a twist is just a dud for me. It's boring. I think it had a lot of potential but just the lack of activity there sucks. I really wish that the advantage they can't play for could be hidden so they could scramble to get it before the end of the night.
Anyway my opinion on the latest episode is quite simply that...
The Malolo's should have stuck together!!!!! I couldn't believe that they didn't!!! Wendell was so confident that it was the perfect time to get rid of him, I actually don't think he brought his idol to tribal because he mentioned about holding onto it for this vote. I feel like that's going to bite people in the back sadly...
Libby reminds me of Hali Ford 2.0. Kinda wouldn't be too shocked if she came back since Hali did, but I did like Libby and think that she has potential in the game, she just sadly got screwed by the fact that she made a great social play with Morgan to get rid of her, and that she was a Malolo, I guarantee if she is Naviti and made that move, she would not have got the same amount of heat.
