Another poem

This is another poem i wrote a long time ago. I dont think anyone here has seen it before.

I know you’ve always been there
For me in my time of need
And now I guess it is only fair
That I return the deed

You have a way of making
Me open up to you
Every time I was depressed and shaking
I knew who would see me through

I know you are upset now
And it is very plain to see why
Just give the word and I will show you how
To be at peace without saying goodbye

You used to be so spunky
But now you’re just depressed
Before you turn into a monkey
Let me say that you’re the best.

You have got me out of tight spots
And to you I owe a lot
It was like Merlin knew I needed help
I am thankful for what I got

I know that this won’t help much
No reason and no rhyme
But still I write it just as such
And know to just give you time

Just remember you have a best friend
Who will always be here to talk
Over time some wounds might not mend
But I think it is worth a shot
